Fire Tower Burns . . .

At 7:28 A. M. Friday morning, the alarm rang for our fire department to respond to a fire on Fire Tower Road past the landfill. The structure that was burning was the Fire Tower itself. Dave Hardin, Erin's Fire Chief, told this reporter there is a reward of up to $1500.00 for information that leads to the arrest of the person or persons involved in the suspected arson. If anyone has information on this please call 1-800-762-3017, the Tennessee Arson Hot Line. The Forestry Department was not sure when the structure would be rebuilt. FIRE TOWER AFTER THE FIRE
